Program:

Day 1:
– Introduction: Each child will have the opportunity to introduce themselves briefly. Mentor will explain how to use the materials, and they will create a small drawing about something they like.
– Collaborative project: We will work together on a project using cardboard and tissue materials, with the theme of space.

Day 2:
– Continuation of the collaborative project: Children will continue working on the common collage. They can paint and draw directly on it or create smaller pieces that will be part of the larger artwork.
Materials: Paints, markers, crayons, carbon paper, regular paper, newspapers, scissors, cardboard boxes.

Day 3:
– Outdoor activity: We will go outside (parents’ assistance for transportation is appreciated) and create landscape art or explore other artistic activities in an outdoor setting.
Location: Speeltuin Kraainem.

Day 4:
– Guest artist visit: An invited artist will come to the CC corner and share about their work. The children will have the opportunity to collaborate with the artist and the mentor on personal projects.

Day 5:
– Conclusion: We will wrap up the week by finishing our artworks and reflecting on the overall experience.
