DESCRIPTION:From Melody to Improv \nCurious about improvisation but not sure where to start?\nJoin us this summer at Cultural Creative Corner for a deep-dive into the worldof music improvisation! \n  \nIn this workshop\, we’ll explore how to move from playing written melodies to creating your own variations and ideas. We’ll start with simple rhythmic and melodic variations and gradually dive into improvising using different scales and modes— always focusing on making beautiful\, expressive lines.\nAlong the way\, we’ll discover how to play with others; through musical interplay\, we’ll learn how to respond\, support\, and create something together in the moment. It’s a playful and supportive space to begin your improvisation journey\, open to all instruments and voices! \nRequirements:\nAt least intermediate level of instrument/voice.\nBasic knowledge of scale system.\nNo sight-reading skills required. \n  \nFee:\n200€\n*(150€ for CC Corner students) \n  \n  \n  \n  \nMetor: \nAbout the mentor: \nSara Simionato has a strong background in jazz and contemporary music\, having started her musical journey at a young age with piano and singing. She holds degrees in Jazz Singing and Jazz Composition\, both with honors. As a versatile musician\, she leads and participates in various projects\, from duos to big bands\, and is experienced in singing\, composition\, and improvisation. Sara is an enthusiastic teacher with international experience\, currently teaching vocal improvisation at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp\, and has performed in renowned venues across Italy and abroad.

Growing up in rural Slovenia\, Dejan developed a deep connection to nature that continues to guide his choice of subjects and shape his artistic vision. He has performed in Slovenia and abroad in numerous solo concerts as well as with orchestras and chamber orchestras.

He has performed in Slovenia and abroad in numerous solo concerts as well as with orchestras and chamber orchestras. \nDušan Pobuda (artist)Born in Czechoslovakia\, Dušan left the country at 13 after the Russian occupation and grew up in the Netherlands\, where he became an engineer. He later moved to Belgium and studied at art academies in Rotterdam and Overijse. \nAbout his work \nDušan’s art reflects his engineering background and love for materials. He creates Wall-Art—three-dimensional works made of various materials\, designed to hang like paintings. His series\, called the “Colour Garden”\, showcases his fascination with vivid pigments and layered textures. \nHis 3D reliefs use insulation materials\, cut\, painted\, and assembled into detailed compositions. His glossy layered pieces are crafted from tinted epoxy resin\, poured in stages to create depth and transparency. Each piece is unique\, developed through experimentation and precise planning. \nYou can meet Dušan every Wednesday (7–9 pm) and Sunday (3–5 pm) at the gallery. He will also be present at the finissage on June 27\, from 5 to 7 pm—you are warmly invited! \nAbout organic wines “Slowine”.\n* nonalcoholic beverage option available
